How to get online

Pattern circle

Here at Twenty11 we’re digital first, which means the main way we communicate with our tenants and customers will be online, whether that be via our portal, by email, or video calls.

We know that sometimes not everyone is able to get online from home, so this guide provides some helpful tips on where you can get online, as well as details of some courses if you want to strengthen your digital skills.

Digital skills are handy in all aspects of your life and mean that you can access information and services at a time that suits you – whether that be with us, banking, government services, and even applying for jobs and schools for your children. We hope you find this guide helpful, but if you have any questions please do get in touch.

Free access to the internet

If you have a smartphone you can normally use it to get online. If you don’t have data or a wifi connection, there are a number of places in Bucks where you can get online for free, including any of the community libraries. These libraries offer members free access to computers with an internet connection.

You can also use the computers and free wifi at Bucks Adult Learning Centre on Wednesdays between 12 and 2pm. During the sessions you also have access to support if you need it.

You can find Bucks Adult Learning at Millbrook ALC, Mill End Road, High Wycombe, HP12 4BA. For more information, visit their website or call 01296 382403

Don’t forget that if you have a device but run out of data and don’t fancy a trip to one of the libraries, you can access free wifi in many high street shops and cafés in your local area.
