Last year, Julia set up a Personal Success Plan because she wanted to explore a change in career. At the time, she was working in the charity sector but had a strong ambition to become a driving instructor.
With support from one of our Realising Potential Specialists (RPS), Julia explored her options, including the qualifications she would need. Our RPS arranged a Zoom meeting with Red Driving School, one of our trusted partners, to help Julia better understand the training and exam process.
Julia then applied for Aspiration Pot funding (a funding initiative designed to help individuals pursue personal and professional development goals) to help cover the cost of the driving instructor course and required exams with Red Driving School. Her application was successful and she was able to begin her training straight away.
Just a few months on, Julia is now a fully qualified driving instructor with Red Driving School.
