Amy set up a Personal Success Plan with her Community Potential Specialist in September 2021, with the aspiration of becoming a qualified nail technician.
She had been finding it difficult to pursue her goal as she had been a keyworker throughout the pandemic and also looks after her young children.
By working closely with Nichola, her Community Potential Specialist, Amy drew up a Personal Success Plan and was able to find a course that she could complete in her own time. Amy successfully applied to Twenty11’s Aspiration Pot for funding to pay the course fees.
With hard work and dedication, Amy has passed her course with flying colours and has become a fully qualified and insured nail technician, all within the space of a few months. Amy’s next goal is to start her own nail business and Twenty11 will be linking her up with local partner organisations to help her start-up business get off the ground.
We can’t wait to support Amy with the next steps in achieving her goal!
